THERMAL INSULATIONS

It is called thermal insulating material or structure that hinders the dissipation of heat, and used in the construction characterized in its high heat resistance. Establishes a barrier to the passage of heat between two media which naturally tend quickly to equalize their temperatures

Hot thermal insulation: Insulation that allows the temperature and established energy conservation project, personal protection and industrial applications.
Cold insulation: Insulation used at cryogenic temperatures.

Cryogenics is a physicochemical branch studying technologies for the production of very low temperatures.

The behavior of elements and materials at very low temperatures requires the use of suitable materials that withstand the effects of thermal transfer without changes in their structure.

Acoustic Insulations

It is the technique used to not pass the sound from one to another environment, through the use of various materials: thick, heavy, and others, who can dampen and dissipate sound energy (sheet metal, glass, solid wood, brick wall massive, rubber mats, cork, carpet, etc.). The isolation, as the name suggests, aims to prevent the passage / output sounds between different environments, between buildings and the environment.

Another factor influencing the isolation is the fact that not only use a barrier, but to create an obstacle to the sound sequence it more difficult to propagate. The use of double walls, double glazed windows or a combination of materials of different densities, are very important to have a good sound insulation.

Ceramic Materials

A ceramic material is a kind of inorganic material, non-metallic compounds usually metallic elements and non-metallic. Ceramic materials may be crystalline or partially crystalline. They are formed by the action of heat and subsequent cooling. They are good insulators and also has the property of having a melting temperature and high strength.

Passive counterfire protection.

The Coating Solutions in Engineering is enabled in the application in different types of counterfire passive protection materials.
